How to Install the Windows Subsystem for Android
Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) is a Windows feature that allows you to run your Android apps on your PC. The program is currently only available for users in the US, but it will eventually be made available for devices around the world. You can install the program on any PC that runs Microsoft's latest installment. Several other apps will also work with it.
For the Windows Subsystem for Android to perform its magic, you need to have an up-to-date version of Windows and a virtualization feature enabled. This feature improves performance and allows you to run a virtual machine on your PC. To enable this feature, go to Settings, click on Virtual Machine Platform, and check the box that says enable.
Using the Microsoft Store, you can download the Windows Subsystem for Android file. It will be about 1.35 GB in size. You can save it to your Downloads folder.
Installing the WSA is a simple process. First, you must open PowerShell. Once you have the command window open, you can type the following command. Make sure that you have PowerShell as an administrator.
Next, you must turn on Developer Mode. This mode allows you to install and sideload Android apps. In addition, you can also use ADB to install and uninstall Android applications.
Finally, you need to install the Windows Subsystem for Android. This is one of the most important features you will find on your new Windows PC.
